M & R got married on a May day at The Farm at Dover. It was chilly for May (hey, Wisconsin), but that didn't decrease the smiles or joy you could see on everyone's faces. DeGroot Film Co. captured the day so beautifully. Dusty blue bridesmaid dresses are a current favorite of mine. It doesn't matter the flowers you choose, they all just look so good against that color. Hoping this trend stays around. These romantic bouquets featuring garden roses and peonies looked especially lovely against the blue. You can't beat peonies this time of year. Long tables and garland in the barn pair together elegantly. Cake by Miss. Molly's is always a good choice.
Head over to DeGroot Film Co.'s blog to see more photos from the day.

I really love the theme of your wedding. It looks so simple, neat and yet attractive. I am looking forward for more photos from you. I wish you all the best in your marriage life and have a great and happy family. I know someday, your kids are going to be amazed of your wedding. I really appreciated that you have shared it with us in here. The bridesmaids are all so beautiful and they are suited of that gray gown.

I like the term "rustic elegance". I somehow feel that maybe the best way to describe me. I am not saying I am elegant but I am sure it had nothing to do with how expensive your clothes were. Character is what you are when nobody is looking. That's what I always say to my friends. You could have all the money in the world but if you are too stingy to even share what you have with the less fortunate, there is no class in that. Rust on the other hand is something you can only gain thru time. It can slowly destroy you but if you don't plan to stay for a long time then I guess it's better to be beautiful than old.
